About
PPSSPP runs PSP games at full HD and beyond, with texture scaling, save states, and a compatibility list that covers essentially the entire catalog. It is also one of the few emulators that works equally well on a desktop and a phone.
No games are included and no firmware is needed. You supply ISO or CSO dumps of UMDs you own or of your own PlayStation Store purchases.
- Near-complete PSP compatibility
- Render at any resolution with texture scaling
- Save states, fast forward and rewind
- Ad-hoc multiplayer over the network
What you need
The emulator contains none of this. It comes from hardware you own and stays on your machine.
Dumps of your own games
ISO or CSO images of UMDs you own, or your own digital purchases. No BIOS is needed.
Setup
- 1
Extract the archive and open PPSSPP.
- 2
Choose Load, browse to a dump of a game you own, and start it.
- 3
